Laura Teixeira is a teacher, artist, and photographer. She has been drawing and painting for most of her life, and more recently began sharing her passion for photography with others as a portrait and wedding photographer.

Although based in London Ontario, much of Laura's work incorporates her Portuguese and Brazilian heritage. In her drawings, paintings, and photographs, Laura embraces classical portraiture and realism to capture the spiritual nuances of her subjects. Intrigued by the depth of human expression, she celebrates the diversity and complexity of the human experience through her realistic representations.

Laura's goal in her photographic work is to capture the moments that may otherwise go unnoticed – an expression, a glance etc. In her portrait and wedding photography, Laura's attention to detail is clearly evident and her ability to make people feel at ease makes working with her truly enjoyable.
